John is the Regulatory Affairs Manager for Mars New Zealand and Mars Petcare Australia.  John has been working in the pet food industry 2002 and is active in the New Zealand Pet Food Association (NZPFA), the Pet Food Industry Association of Australia (PFIAA) and the Global Alliance of Pet Food Associations (GAPFA). 

John sits on the NZPFA Executive Committee, is the PFIAA president, the chair of the PFIAA Standards and Technical Working Group, co-chair of the GAPFA Food Safety and Trade Facilitation Work Stream, and also sits on, and contributes to the GAPFA Nutrition Work Stream. 

John has three cats: Joe, a Ragdoll/Russian Blue cross, and Coco and Molly who are both seal-point ragdolls.
