Market Access Updates - Korea

Three “new” facilities (those that have not exported to Korea between 15th January 2024 and 14th January 2025) have their premises registration applications in to MPI. They will be forwarded to Korea shortly.
Once listed with MPI, these new facilities may then immediately export to Korea.
The three will be subject to an in-person systems audit by Korean auditors. Being a systems audit, costs will be borne by the Crown. A date for this has yet to be set but will be some months away.
It is strongly recommended that both “old” and “new” premises get listed as soon as possible.

MPI and Korea MAFRA are negotiating an update to the certificate. In the meantime, all exports can continue using the current KR204 cert.
